WINTER MARKET UPDATE
5 August 2026
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The Australian Grape season has come to its end. Quality is just not up to standard due to lengthy Cold Storage. John can help with suggesting alternative seasonal products.
CUMQUATS
Plentiful and quality is excellent. Still no sign of Sevilles. Blood Oranges are in season too.
CORELLA PEARS
The flavour at the moment is very sweet. Other varieties such as Packham and Beurre Bosc are pretty good too.
STRAWBERRIES
There is a bit of a glut this week. Quality, supply and price are all very good.
GLOBE ARTICHOKES
Are starting to come good now.
GREEN GARLIC
Quality is fantastic and there is no problem with supply at the moment.
