Important Information
NO DELIVERIES Monday 5th October - Sydney Markets is closed for the Labour Day Public Holiday.
HEIRLOOM TOMATOES: It looks like the drought is breaking with a few drops of rain falling in the shape of a handful of Monte Rosa tomatoes arriving this week. At this stage they're pretty green but at least harvesting has started.
HALLOWEEN PUMPKINS
Have started to arrive in the market.
PURSLANE
Now in season and supply is looking pretty good.
SILVERBEET
From now until it gets really hot they are superb.
SUGAR SNAP PEAS
Locally grown Sugar Snaps are available. A great Springtime option.
SUMMERINA MANDARINS
An unusual looking but great eating late season seedless mandarin. A bit more expensive than the Afourer but the taste makes it worth it.
GREEN ALMONDS
Have hit the market floor. We sell them in 5kg boxes.
