Important Information
Heirloom Tomatoes: Still nothing to get excited about. The few that I've seen in the Market have been picked extremely underripe. As they ripen the skin becomes severely marked and the texture is quite floury. I can't justify paying the money for this level of quality.
LIONS MANE MUSHROOMS
Lions Mane mushrooms grown in NSW are available and come in 2kg boxes but need to be pre-ordered. Let me know if you're interested.
ASPARAGUS
Its systems go and now some nice B grade boxes are available at a great price (as shown in the photo). Prices will continue to fall.
MINI ROMA TRUSS TOMATOES
In my opinion, they are the sweetest available. More have arrived this week so price is coming down and we should see them becoming a deeper red colour as the weather warms up.
GRAPES
Seedless Australian green Sweet Globes are in now too. We will switch between them and the Black seedless, depending on availability.
MANGOES
Kensington Prides from the Northern Territory are looking better. Worth having a look.
STRAWBERRIES
For quality and presentation, we are now using Western Australian Strawberries. They are more expensive as you would expect. There are still decent Queensland B Grade at a good price, but these are sold by the tray only.

Impact of Fuel & Fertiliser Shortages on Fresh Produce Prices
